Let’s be clear: the dance floor would not be the same without women DJs.

Across genres and continents, they’re reshaping club culture in real time: pushing sonic boundaries, redefining headliner status, breaking records, and building communities that extend far beyond the booth. And most importantly, they’re delivering sets that move both the crowd and the culture forward.

Here, we’re highlighting some of our team’s standout sets – performances that exemplify technical precision, fearless selection, and an instinct for reading a room. The ones that left a mark long after the final track faded.

DJ Miss Milan

"Miss Milan is DJ/producer, she helped produce Doechii's Alligator Bites Never Heal. She also has her own DJ collective to create community for women and LGBTQ+ DJs! This incredible set is a fresh take on all the best 2000s songs." - Nisha

N1NJA

"I recently discovered N1NJA and have listened to this mix multiple times since. Her music is super funky, deep and does very well on a sunny festival day. Closing out with Helsloot's remix of Body Language makes me listen to this entire mix over and over and over again." - Ruben

VTSS & KI/KI

"Amazing set with so much energy, crazy dancing of Patrick Mason and, of course, the iconic background of the ancient walls of Valetta. Love to run to this set, always break records with this one ;)" - Margriet

Philippa Pacho b2b Sandrien

"Still one of my favourite sets. This closing while it was raining at Draaimolen 2024 was insane, is super groovy and still atmospheric. Sandrien has been a legend for years while Philippa Pacho is a rising star in the scene. Also shoutout to the unreleased super man edit by Sandrien at 1:44:40!" - Joris

Jyoty

"No one does high energy like Jyoty. There’s a sense of playfulness in the way she builds momentum, but it’s underpinned by serious control. Controlled chaos, in the best possible way." - Poly

Amelie Lens

"When you say a woman DJ, Amelie Lens immediately is top of mind! Her Exhale set at the ADE 2024 is still one of my faves. She was so preggo during that set but she played SUCH HARD TECHNO." - Cammie

Lilly Liaz

"A very very good friend of mine, called Lilly Liaz, is a DJ from France but now based in Rio De Janeiro. She has her own show called Lilly Liaz invites where she invites other women DJs to play their sets. She also has her podcast called "Meuf Capable" where she shares women's stories, strength and creativity. Her style is Amapiano, Raggaeton, Dancehall... if you want to dance, listen to her!" - Mailys

Jane Fitz

"Jane Fitz can set a dancefloor on fire with her records. Your favourite DJ’s favourite DJ!" - Richard

Vaal

"It’s an oldie, but Vaal’s set at the Helling at Wildeburg in 2018 has a lot of good memories. They were affiliated with DJ Tennis’ Life and Death label, and this set brings some dark, even aggressive energy.

And my fav piece of pub quiz knowledge: Vaal’s real name is Eliot Sumner. Figure out who their father is…" - Jan

Vera Grace

"My absolute fave would have to be Vera Grace. She is also my best friend but she is one off the most passionate people I know. She has a unique sound that is hypnotic and dark, with so much texture and storytelling. She has played at major festivals, however, is still undiscovered in Amsterdam. She will make it this year 100%." - Lasse
