Babydox: Kdo jsem dneska?

Think young children don’t belong in a gallery? The organizers of Babybox disagree. Come see for yourself that DOX has something to offer even to younger children accompanied by parents, grandparents, or other adults who will guide them on their journey into contemporary art.

An art workshop for children ages 2 to 4 inspired by the exhibition Jiří Petrbok: Patient’s Diary.

This time, participants will embark on an adventurous journey in search of their own “self” (which, however, may not be just one). Together, they will draw inspiration from the exhibition Jiří Petrbok: Patient’s Diary and explore how a person can transform, hide, and rediscover themselves.

What if our portrait didn’t just tell us what we look like, but also how we sometimes feel? Or who we could be? We’ll create an image of ourselves... Perhaps it will contain masks, secrets, traces of moods, or strange creatures that only occasionally show themselves. Perhaps a hero will emerge who knows how to hide, or a character who changes according to the situation. Come and discover together all the things we can become.
