The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam presents a major retrospective of Yayoi Kusama, one of the most influential artists of her time. Following her recent death, the exhibition has become a tribute to her life and work.

The show covers more than seventy years of work: from her early years in Japan and her time in New York in the 1960s to her latest pieces made in Tokyo. Expect her iconic polka dots and Infinity Mirror Rooms, works never shown in Europe before and new installations created especially for this exhibition.

The exhibition runs until 17 January 2027.
